When the Makio was founded in the late 1880s, multiple Greek Life organizations here at OSU financed and led the book, and continued to do so for decades of excellence. When the Makio began publishing again in 2000 after a six-year layoff, Greek Life organizations and student organizations such as Ohio Staters, Inc. were there to offer financial and resourceful support. Student Organziations are central to the Makio's mission to chronicle a year at Ohio State, and the Makio offers student organizations the chance to be included in the 2012-2013 Makio for free!
For information on how to get your student org included in the 2012-2013 Makio, email osuyearbook@gmail.com. The Makio will accept photo submissions (must be of a certain quality) and short writing submissions about your organization and its work. The Makio's staff photographers can also take a group picture for you; to reserve this option, please email osuyearbook@gmail.com at least two weeks prior to your picture date. There is space in the 2012-2013 yearbook for a few student organizations to have their activities and philanthropies highlighted in a more in-depth feature article, and our staff will be glad to discuss this option with your student org's leaders!
