Lead. Learn. Serve. Three simple words that sum up over 135 years of Ohio State history. Sororities and fraternities at Ohio State are virtually as old as the university itself and ever since their inception in 1874, have been working to set the standard for what leadership, learning, and service should look like in the collegiate setting
The Panhellenic Association, which is part of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), serves as the governing council of the sixteen national sororities on The Ohio State University campus.
The Interfraternity Council is the coordinating and governing body for all of The Ohio State University's general/social Fraternities. The Council consists of nine elected executive chairs and one representative (one president) from each respective Fraternity. The Council meets together on Wednesday nights throughout the academic terms in the Sphinx Centennial Room in the Ohio Union.
The purpose of the MCGC is to inspire culture, trust, support, understanding and friendship between its members, the Greek Community, the University and Columbus Community.
