Funding
Student Organization Funding
Registered student organizations are eligible for up to $200 in operating funds and up to $2000 or $3000 in programming funds depending on status. Only those registered student organizations whose presidents, treasurers, and advisors have completed their respective training sessions may be eligible to receive CSA funding. Please review the student organization guidelines for complete information on fundable and non-fundable expenses.

Funding Request Forms
The new fiscal year (FY) for student organizations begins on July 1, and all funding availability starts over. If an organization does not utilize all of its programming or operating funds for the current academic year, money does not roll over to the next year for the organization.
Deadlines for 2009-2010 Academic Year
July 24: Fall 2009 (part 1) events (occurring September 20 - October 31)
October 2: Fall 2009 (part 2) events (occurring November 1 - January 3)
October 23: Winter 2010 events (occurring January 4 - March 28, 2010)
February 5: Spring 2010 events (occurring March 29- June 20)
Deadlines for 2010-2011 Academic Year
April 30: Summer 2010 events (occurring June 21 - September 18)
July 23: Fall 2010 (part 1) events (occurring September 19- October 31)
October 8: Fall 2010 (part 2) events (occurring November 1 - January 2)
October 22: Winter 2011 (events occurring January 3 - March 27)
February 4: Spring 2011 (events occurring March 28 - June 19)

These dates are applicable for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Organizations which operate on a semester system should plan on applying for their events according to the dates above.
Audits
All organizations who receive operating funds in 2009-2010 must turn in an audit by June 1, 2010. Organizations that fail to turn in their audits by this time will forfeit funding for their organizations in the future.
Programming audits are due no later than 30 days after the event. Organizations that were approved for programming funds will be reimbursed after submitting their audit, including original itemized receipts, according to the Student Organization Guidelines regarding fundable expenses. Failure to submit audits within 30 days may result in the audit being void and not reimbursable.

Council on Student Affairs
The Council on Student Affairs (CSA) is a Subcommittee of the University Senate. It serves as the link between the student governments, the faculty and the administration. It also is serves as the advisory body to the Vice President for Student Life. For more information about CSA, please visit their website at studentaffairs.osu.edu/csa.asp.
CSA Allocations
CSA Allocations is a subcommittee of CSA made up of students, staff, and faculty working together to determine how Student Activity Fee money and some Student Life money is allocated. In the case of student organizations, this group decides funding issues and reviews program proposals.
